1. After creating a quiz in Google Forms, check the following settings:
- Click on settings icon in top right corner (looks like a gear)
- Click on "Quizzes" tab and then select "Make this a quiz"
- Decide if you want students to see missed questions, correct answers, and point values and check or uncheck these options.
2. From Google Classroom:
- Create new assignment and give it a title and instructions
- Attach quiz from your Google Drive
- Click toggle button "Enable grade importing" (if you don't see this option, return to your original form and ensure you followed the steps above.
NOTE: Grade importing automatically limits each form to 1 response per user, collects email addresses, and restricts responses to users in your domain.
3. Importing Grades
Once students have submitted their responses:
- Click on "Done" to see the details of this assignment
- You will see a list of students who have completed the quiz, but without grades
- In the upper right corner, click on "Import Grades" button to begin importing grades
- Point value will automatically adjust to your original Form settings
- Select students from the right menu to return grades
- To view student responses in detail, click on "View Student Responses in Forms"
